Great Things Are Happening Here are some amazing features in Kids Cooking with Chef Shiri: Let’s Get Started! 1 In a microwave-safe glass bowl, melt chocolate chips for 20 seconds at a time on high, stirring each time, until chocolate is smooth and melted. 2 Line a baking sheet with wax paper. 3 Use the butter knife to cut each banana into 3 pieces (2 to 3 inches apart). Insert an ice cream stick in one end of each banana piece. 4 Dip banana, one piece at a time, in chocolate, spooning on additional chocolate to cover. 5 Drizzle bananas with chocolate syrup. Spoon sprinkles and/or chopped almonds over each banana. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. 6 Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, about 25 minutes. They will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Bananas are great to eat when you’re doing fitness and sports activities because they replace carbohydrates, glycogen, and body fluids that are used up during exercise.
