ט " תשע טבת א " י December 19, 2018 Dear Community Members, הי״ו With profound sorrow, our community mourns the passing of our beloved Chief Rabbi Shaul Kassin ל ” ז , who served our people with extraordinary love and matchless devotion over 6 decades. He touched the lives of thousands as he shepherded his flock with unbounding care and sweet tenderness. His wisdom, compassion, dignity, unwavering commitment, and humility, inspired us all. During the past 25 years, our community has lost several great leaders, among them Rabbi Jacob Kassin, Rabbi Baruch Ben Haim, Rabbi Yom Tob Yedid, and recently Rabbi Shaul Kassin. These great men were pillars of our community, sacrificing their personal lives for the sake of our wellbeing. Although we have lost the merit of basking in the presence of these spiritual giants, let us follow on the path which they have lovingly paved for us; the path of brotherly love, kindness, compassion and commitment. Let us hold their holy images before our eyes as we set an example for generations to come.
