They used 145,000 eggs, 880 pounds of oil, and 220 pounds of butter. World's Oldest Roller Coaster Leap-the-Dips, a roller coaster ride at Lakemont Park in Altoona, Pennsylvania, opened in 1902. It was closed for restoration from 1985 to 1999, but today it is fully operational – making it the world’s oldest functioning roller coaster. Largest Hiking Boot The record for the largest hiking boot measures 23 feet 5 inches long, 8 feet 2 inches wide, and 13 feet 9 inches high. It was manufactured by Schuh Marke and it was presented in Hauenstein, Germany, on September 30, 2006. Roomiest Backpack With enough room inside to pack the contents of an entire classroom, the world’s biggest backpack measures 34 feet high, 25 feet 7 inches wide, and 9 feet 2.2 inches deep. It was made by Omasu in Saudi Arabia in April of 2012. 88 Community Magazine Longest Snake The length of the reticulated python often exceeds 20 feet 6 inches,and the record length is 32 feet 10 inches, set by a python in 1912. The longest captive snake ever recorded is a python named Medusa who measured 25 feet 2 inches. Medusa is owned by Full Moon Productions in Kansas City, Missouri.
