Rabbi Yosef Skolnik, 6th grade מסכת תענית- משניות! הלכה -הלכות תפילין! פרק אלו מציאות מסכת בבא מציעא Rabbi Osher Levovitz, 7th grade מסכת מכות פרק ראשון ושני Learned almost every רש”י and בעל הטורים in Humash along with many Rambans. All boys read a biography and wrote a detailed report on different Gedolim Had a “Building the Klei HaMishkan” contest, boys worked - with lots of team- work- on their projects! Rabbi Isaac Shweky, 1st Grade We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Malkie Machlis to the staff of Yeshivat Or Hatorah Elementary School as the new General Studies Principal for the upcoming year 2014-15. Mrs. Machlis comes to Yeshivat Or Hatorah with 20 years of expertise as Principal, both elementary and high school. She is a proficient and dedicated administrator with a proven success rate. Mrs. Machlis is a vibrant, energetic and creative individual focused on learning goals and a desire for excellence. Her aim is to create a warm and loving atmosphere in which students can grow both academically and spiritually. She hopes to instill pride in scholastic achievement and build confidence in every individual student while raising academic benchmarks. Her goal is academic excellence, implemented and enhanced through the Common Core curriculum, teacher workshops and extra-curricular programs. She has previously trained teachers in classroom methodology, focusing on analytical and critical thinking skills and student comprehension.
