Just this past year, COJO of Flatbush has provided: • 5,000 clients with Entitlements Assistance & Case Management. • 2,000 residents with Health • insurance through our CHP/ FHP/Medicaid NYS Program. • 2,500 teen-agers with summer jobs . • 2,000 families with food pantries year round, Holiday food vouchers & packages. • 2,000 residents with emergency relief with food, housing, utility bills, clothing & medical care. Over 10,000 HurricaneVictims received these Emergency Relief services. • 650 f rail and homebound se- niors with regular social visits, telephone assurance, nutrition & medical support. • 250 people with financial coun- seling & foreclosure prevention guidance. • 500 children with Camp Scholarships • 400 adults with gainful & re- warding employment. • 500 clients with legal assistance & access to pro-bono legal counsel, client repre sentation & advocacy . • 500 families were thus far as- sisted with relocation, housing, benefits & FEMA Hurricane Sandy Services.
