Ingredients: 4½ cups flour ½ cup margarine ⅛ tsp salt ½ cup sugar 2 eggs 3 tbsp dry yeast 1 cup warm water Powdered sugar Jelly, custard, caramel or other filling of your choice Directions: 1. Place flour and salt into bowl, cut in margarine until crumbly and add in eggs. 2. Make a well in the center of the mixture and add in water, sugar and yeast. 3. Cover the mixture and let rise for about 10 minutes. 4. Mix in bowl until a dough is formed, then cover and let rise about 30 minutes. 5. Form about 2 tbsp of dough into a ball or a ring and deep fry 3-4 minutes. 6. Inject filling of your choice and/or sprinkle powdered sugar to coat donuts.
