However, due to an equipment issue, the Pizza Crusts with lot codes 122121 to 122302 were made on dairy equipment (they do not contain any dairy ingredients). A TLANTA B READ C HOCOLATE B ROWNIE B ITES , were mistakenly printed with a plain OU, without the D-dairy designation. This product, in 9.6 oz packages, is certified by the Orthodox Union as an OU-D, dairy product. This product contains dairy components, as indicated on the label. The mislabeled product was primarily sold at WalMart. Corrective measures have been implemented. OU, August 1, 2012. Other Alerts F RESH B LUEBERRIES , may be found to have thrips (small slender insects) on the top of the berry near the hole. To cleaning blueberries: 1.Fill a large receptacle with water and soap. 2. Submerge the berries completely in the soapy solution and allowed to soak for three minutes. 3. Vigorously agitate the berries in the solution. 4. Remove the blueberries from the receptacle, placing them in a colander, and rinse them very thoroughly, making sure the stream of water reaches all the berries. 5. No further inspection is necessary. Note: These steps are for premium blueberries (Grade A) and exclude wild blueberries found in the country or other similar areas, which can be infested with insects. Vaad of Denver, August 1, 2012. The product, sold in Costco and Smart & Final stores located in California, Arizona, and Utah, is packaged in a red, white and black 1.5lb (680g) gusset bag with zipper. Consumers in possession of this lot should not eat the candy and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. B URCH W HOLE C ARIBBEAN G OLD CANTALOUPES , are being recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. All Burch melons in this season’s crop are affected by this recall. The cantaloupes were distributed in FL, GA, IL, MD, ME, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC and VA. The whole cantaloupes are identified by a red label reading Burch Farms referencing PLU # 4319. All cantaloupes involved in the recall were grown by Burch Farms, however some of the cantaloupes may have been identified with a “Cottle Strawberry, Inc.” sticker referencing PLU #4319. Cottle Farms is not involved in this recall. Cantaloupes from Burch Farms were shipped in both corrugated boxes (9 cantaloupes per case) and in bulk bins. The packages were distributed to limited Target and Walmart stores. Only the product meeting both the following criteria is affected: 6-packs of Coconut Chocolate Chip Clif Bars in with “Best By” date 16MAY13G1 and 12-packs of Blueberry Crisp Clif Bars with “Best By” date 17MAR13G3.
