The first step in the process of Talmudic technologization was the emergence of taped recordings of Daf Yomi classes to assist those who desired to follow the program but could not study the Talmud text on their own and were unable to attend classes. The “Dial-a-Daf” telephone service was also introduced, offering phone- instruction of the daily page of Talmud. More recently, the advent of the internet has brought Daf Yomi learning to everyone’s home or office computer or Smartphone, as dozens of on-line resources can be accessed on-demand with a click. Whether you’re a Talmudic novice or seasoned scholar, online Daf Yomi resources are available to enable you to study and delve into the daily daf wherever you are and on the level that’s right for you. As Jews around the world begin the 13 th cycle of Daf Yomi, we present a list of some valuable online tools for those looking to join the exciting daf-a-day program. Community wishes all Daf Yomi participants much success in this ambitious undertaking, and looks forward to congratulating them on their completion of the Talmud in 2020.
