The scheduled seven inning game against the DRS Wildcats saw lead changes back and forth with each team scoring five runs a piece. But for the next 4½ extra innings, neither team would score despite having the bases loaded multiple times. Then, in the bottom of the 12 th inning, with two outs and a man on, rightfielder Max Antar got a pitch in his wheelhouse and smashed it over the leftfield fence. The two-run homer by the game MVP not only gave Shaare the championship title, but also capped a perfect season by the talented team. 62 COMMUNITY MAGAZINE
