Photos & Coverage by: Ralph Cohen Check out SYVarsity.com for game photos of your favorite SY teams After overcoming a persistent YDE Junior Varsity team in the quarter-finals by a score of 53-46, Flatbush JV fell to HAFTR 44- 38 in the playoff semi-finals. Meanwhile, Magen David Varsity fell to North Shore 55-41 in their quarter-final matchup. The Varsity championship was eventually won by Frisch by a blowout score of 45 to 28 over SAR, thanks to a huge fourth- quarter run, led by Frisch’s game MVP Michael Bouaziz. Meanwhile the Junior Varsity championship was a nail-biter as SAR just barely squeaked by HAFTR 41-40.
