hONeYMOONeRs On a visit to his wife’s native England for their honeymoon, Jerry and Rebecca arrived at London’s Gatwick Airport. Rebecca headed for the British passport control line while Jerry, an American, waited in the foreigners’ line. When Jerry’s turn came, the customs officer asked the purpose of his visit. “Pleasure,” Jerry replied, “I’m on my honeymoon.” The officer looked first to one side and then the other. “That’s very interesting, sir,” he said as he stamped Jerry’s passport. “Most men bring their wives with them.” Yitzy Daneshpanahi safetY piN Victor was very excited when his father took him to the bank for the first time to open up his own bank account. When the bank teller handed them the debit card, Victor’s father said, “Son, be careful when you use this card not to allow anyone to see which numbers you are punching into the ATM machine.” Victor listened seriously and nodded his head. The next day, Victor went with his older brother Toby to the bank to try his new card. Crouching over the ATM while punching in his numbers, he refused to let Toby see. “Ha,” Toby joked. “I saw your PIN, its four stars.” With a satisfied smile on his face, Victor turned around and answered “Ha, wrong! It’s 1826.” Rachel D eVeR wONdeR... Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin? Why can’t women put on mascara with their mouth closed? Why is “abbreviated” such a long word? Rachel C. riddle: Marry Me SUBMITTED BY: David Dweck Penelope lives in a village with two tribes – the Emets, who always tell the truth, and the Shekers, who always lie. All of the villagers are either rich or poor (no middle class), and there is no way to tell an Emet from a Sheker just by looking at them. Penelope wants to marry a rich Emet. What can a prospective suitor say to Penelope to convince her that he is the one she is looking for? last Month’s riddle: The secret sibling Rivka is having twins. The doctor determines that at least one of the babies is going to be a boy. With this knowledge, what are the odds that Rivka will have twin boys? solution: One out of three. There are four possibilities for any set of twins: boy and boy, girl and girl, boy and girl, and girl and boy. If one of the babies is definitely a boy, then we can eliminate girl and girl as a pos- sibility. But each of the other three possibilities still has an equal chance, and so the odds are one out of three that both babies will be boys. solved by: Ezra Sitt, Abie Tawil Junior riddle: escape from afghanistan SUBMITTED BY: Isaac Hamaoui Sgt.
