Sarah’s Tent Wins Award at Kosher Fest It should come as no surprise that a specialty item from our community “took the cake” at Kosher Fest, the international kosher food and beverages trade show at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in NJ on October 28th. Sarah’s Tent, located in Deal, won an award for the best potato borekas. Kosher Fest is attended each year by thousands of qualified buyers. Hundreds of new certified kosher products are displayed, and the best products are awarded a special certificate and title by the panel of judges. This year’s show also featured a culinary competition for the best deli sandwich arrangement and a book signing by Susie Fishbein, celebrated author of Kosher by Design .
