the international community Porsche to Examine Its Nazi Past German luxury carmaker Porsche promised to closely examine forced labor in its factories during the Second World War. Outside experts are investigating how or if, the company brought in hundreds of laborers and forced them to work at the plant. The issue came to light in the book, Nazi Culprits in Stuttgart written by journalist UlrichViehoefer. Thus far, the carmaker has admitted that fifty people had been placed in forced labor. Since the war, eleven people have made claims, eight of whom were remunerated. The company has also set aside about $3 million in a fund aimed at compensating forced laborers. Israel’s Intel Hits Target on Iran Nukes It is the Israelis, not the Americans, who have the most accurate intelligence on the latest Iranian attempts to acquire the nuclear bomb, say the New York Times and the International Atomic EnergyAgency (IAEA). An IAEA report entitled “Possible Military Dimensions of Iran’s Nuclear Program” presented information based in part on Israeli intelligence about the latest Iranian nuclear facility, near Qom, among other evidence, and says that Iran already has “sufficient information to be able to design and produce a workable” atom bomb. The report also verifies that Iranian missiles are capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to targets in the Middle East and Europe. Arabs Plot to Drop the Dollar? Gulf Arab states are secretly conspiring with several other powerful countries to weaken the US dollar by ending oil- for-dollar trades by 2018, according to a report in Britain’s Independent. The alleged plot calls for purchases to be made instead, in gold, the Japanese yen, the Chinese yuan, the euro or a possible unified Arab currency. The reports says that secret meetings took place between the likes of Japan, China, Russia and several major Arab states to forge the plan. A Jewish Owned Al-Jazeera?
